The exhibition belongs to the series of events on the occasion of the 100 years anniversary of the Sopot Forest Opera. The exposition will consist of several spacial jewellery forms – among them, the statuette of the Amber Nightingale – the main award of the Sopot Music Festival. 

The vernissage will be accompanied by additional attractions: guitar concert of Magdalena Gliwinska (student of the Conservatory in Granada, Spain), special fancy cake and wine tasting (thanks to our sponsors Milano confectionery and Millesime quality wines Jacek Wysokinski). The exhibition will be closed with the festive finnisage on Thursday, 10th September 2009 at 7:30PM (the finnisage is on the list of the official events of the Ambermart Fair). 
The patrons of honor are: Marshall of the Pomeranian Voivodeship – Mr. Jan Kozłowski, president of Sopot – Mr. Jacek Karnowski, International Amber Association, Goldsmithing Artists` Association and the Director of the Historical Museum in Gdańsk – Mr. Adam Koperkiewicz. The exhibition was financially supported by: the Cultural Department of the City of Sopot, Hestia Insurance Company and W&A jewellery supply. Bogdan Mirowski – artist born in 1945 in Sopot, where he lives and creates. Materials, which he uses most eagerly, are: pure silver, amber, gemstones, mother of pearl and wood. For 35 years he has been creating applied art objects as well as sculptures. For 15 years, he has been an author of the statuette of the Amber Nightingale – the main prize in the Sopot Music Festival. His works has been presented at several individual and collective exhibitions and fashion shows. The works of Bogdan Mirowski are to be found in the museums and private collections in Poland and abroad.
