The Ambermoda gallery and the sophisti.pl portal invite you to take part in the design competition: “Design Jewellery of bottle caps”.
The task is to create and send the jewelley (necklace, pendant, brooch, earrings or bracelet) design with the use of bottle caps – it can be delivered either as a drawing or a finished object.
You can apply via sophisti.pl portal – the deadline is 31 December 2009. The works will be judged by a very professional jury of jewellery designers: Mariusz Gliwiński (Ambermoda), Sławomir Fijałkowski and Bogdan Mirowski. The report of the jury proceedings as well as the list of winners will be published on the sophisti.pl portal till 15th January 2010. The chosen designs will be realised in the Ambermoda workshop under supervision of Mariusz Gliwiński and then presented at the International Amberif Fair (Amber, Jewellery & Gem show in Gdansk) in March 2010, in the Ambermoda Gallery in Sopot and at the Warsaw Fashion Street 2010, where the final of the competition will take place. The main prize winner will be chosen out of 10 final designs.
The initiator of the competition is Mariusz Gliwiński, who presented the necklace made of botlle caps set in silver at this years’ edition of the Amberif Fair. Since the idea was regarded as very interesting, he decided to continue the “bottle caps” project.
