Ambermoda showcases Special Jewellery at Baltic Amber Festival (Hong Kong) 2013
Mariusz Gliwiński został zaproszony przez chińską firmę Amberozia do wzięcia udziału w drugim Festiwalu Bursztynu w Hong Kongu jako projektant współpracujący.
Mariusz Gliwiński has been invited by AMBEROZIA, organizer of the second Baltic Amber Festival in Hong Kong, as the festival collaborating designer.
Following the success of the first-ever Baltic Amber Festival in Hong Kong held in June last year in which Ambermoda has also participated, Baltic Amber Festival (Hong Kong) 2013 will be held between 12-16 September. Supported by the Consulate General of Poland in Hong Kong, the City Office of Gdansk & the International Amber Association, the theme of this year’s festival is “A Kaleidoscope of Amber Art & Designer Jewellery from Poland”. It comprises a private reception held at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, an open lecture held at the Hong Kong Design Institute and a public exhibition held at Gloucester Luk Kwok Hotel.
For the amber fashion show that will take place during the festival opening reception on 12 September, Ambermoda will present the VENUS and ICE CUBES collections which are well-liked in Hong Kong, and also the 2013 new collection ILLUSION. To pay tribute to Hong Kong, Mariusz Gliwiński has prepared 3 sets of amber jewellery, one from the MOVIE STARS collection and two other specially created items namely “TECHNOCITY-HK” and “CONNECT”, to be presented at the finale of the fashion show.
Mariusz Gliwiński will be in Hong Kong throughout the festival period. He will be available and delighted to meet with friends, customers and amber lovers at the public exhibition to be held on Sunday 15 Sept (12-8pm) and Monday 16 September (1-7pm). The exhibition will display amber jewellery by Ambermoda and other Polish designers/companies, as well as a variety of precious amber with inclusions.
